The German Lost Art Foundation lauds establishment of Foundation Professorships
Today the Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach Foundation announced the establishment of two Foundation Professorships in Provenance Research at the University of Bonn. The preparations were undertaken in agreement with the German Lost Art Foundation. The first of two professorships will be created in the School of Humanities at the Institute of Art History, and the second at the School of Law and Economics. Provenance research and collection history will be the focus of research at the Institute of Art History. The legal studies research will address issues related to the protection of art and cultural assets.
