"Efficient, transparent and expeditious": Current information on the progress of the "Gurlitt Provenance Research" project is now available on the website of the German Lost Art Foundation

New in­for­ma­tion about the "Gurlitt Prove­nance Re­search" project can now be found on the web­site of the Ger­man Lost Art Foun­da­tion. Fol­low­ing the pub­li­ca­tion of doc­u­ments found in Gurlitt’s es­tate at the Ger­man Fed­er­al Archives in ear­ly April, the project, now man­aged by the Foun­da­tion, rep­re­sents an­oth­er im­por­tant step to­wards en­hanc­ing the trans­paren­cy of the in­ves­ti­ga­tion of Cor­nelius Gurlitt’s art col­lec­tion. The in­for­ma­tion in­cludes de­tails about the tasks of the project, the re­search top­ic, the re­search team and its work­ing meth­ods. The Ger­man Lost Art Foun­da­tion will reg­u­lar­ly re­port on the progress of the project via its web­site.
