Saxony-Anhalt’s Minister of Cultural Affairs visits the German Lost Art Foundation – Rainer Robra appointed as new member of the Foundation Board

The Min­is­ter of Cul­tur­al Af­fairs of Sax­ony-An­halt, Rain­er Ro­bra, paid a vis­it to­day to the Ger­man Lost Art Foun­da­tion. Fol­low­ing the in­te­gra­tion the Cul­tur­al Af­fairs De­part­ment in­to the State Chan­cellery and the State Min­is­ter’s ap­point­ment to the Foun­da­tion Board, Ro­bra wished to learn more about the Foun­da­tion’s tasks and cen­tral pro­gramme ar­eas, as well as the cur­rent and planned fo­cus of ac­tiv­i­ties at the Foun­da­tion.

He said that he was es­pe­cial­ly pleased that the Foun­da­tion was es­tab­lished in Magde­burg in 2015, which has re­sult­ed in mak­ing it an­oth­er sig­nif­i­cant com­po­nent of cul­tur­al life in Sax­ony-An­halt. Ro­bra al­so told the Ex­ec­u­tive Board of the Foun­da­tion that the State of Sax­ony-An­halt will con­tin­ue to as­sume its his­toric and po­lit­i­cal re­spon­si­bil­i­ty and there­fore pledged to pro­vide on­go­ing sup­port to the Foun­da­tion in the fu­ture.
