The Provenance Research Association (Arbeitskreis Provenienzforschung e.V.), headed by the art historian Dr. Ute Haug, has officially launched its own website. The site http://arbeitskreis-provenienzforschung.org/ provides information about the organisation’s objectives, tasks and background, and offers users the possibility to gain membership. The German Lost Art Foundation cooperates closely with the Provenance Research Association. Both executive boards meet regularly to share information and exchange ideas. The Foundation has pledged to support the conferences and projects of the Provenance Research Association in as far as financially possible, whereby it stands to benefit from the expertise of its members in developing concepts for provenance research, documentation, education and professional training measures. These activities will ensure the sustained and systematic collaboration between both organisations.
