Date 2016.05.18

In the latest issue of the Thüringer Museumshefte (Thuringian Museum Journals), Uwe Hartmann, head of the Provenance Research Department at the German Lost Art Foundation, described the long-term perspectives and the new conditions for conducting provenance research in Germany. In addition to outlining the Foundation’s tasks and fields of activity, he particularly encouraged small and medium-sized museums to investigate their holdings and take advantage of the available professional support and funding.
