Ulm Museum launches project to examine holdings for Nazi-confiscated property – provenance researcher introduced

Ulm Mu­se­um has be­gun its project to sys­tem­at­i­cal­ly ex­am­ine its own hold­ings for Nazi-con­fis­cat­ed prop­er­ty and has in­tro­duced its ap­point­ed prove­nance re­searcher, Alexan­dra Cha­va Sey­mann, at a press meet­ing. The Ger­man Lost Art Foun­da­tion is sup­port­ing the project with a fi­nan­cial grant for one year.

Sey­mann’s task is to de­ter­mine the prove­nance of works cre­at­ed be­fore 1945 that were added to the mu­se­um’s col­lec­tion af­ter 1933.
